Kao Data Names Bruce Claassen Chief Financial Officer

Bruce Claassen will become Kao Data's chief financial officer on October 1, bringing more than 20 years of finance experience to the data center operator.

Kao Data names Bruce Claassen as chief financial officer, effective October 1, 2026, the company said in a press release. He will work with the board, investors, CEO Spencer Lamb, and the senior leadership team as the data center operator expands its capacity in Greater London and Greater Manchester.

Claassen joins from Global Switch, where he spent four years as group finance director and most recently served as acting chief financial officer. He led finance operations across Europe and the Asia Pacific region and oversaw refinancing programs.

He has more than 20 years of financial leadership experience, including roles at Towergate, Worldpay, and RAC. His experience covers capital investment, refinancing, and finance teams at listed and private equity backed companies.
