Kawasaki Robotics and Dexterity Expand Collaboration on Warehouse Robots
Kawasaki Robotics and Dexterity Inc. announced in a press release an expanded collaboration to combine Kawasaki's RL030N 8 DoF robot arm platform with Dexterity's Mech humanoid robots for warehouse logistics.
Dexterity's Mech robots use the RL030N arm for tasks such as trailer loading and unloading. The partnership is aimed at supporting high-throughput warehouse operations, especially in environments where traditional automation has been difficult to scale.
The RL030N robot arm is equipped with Kawasaki Robotics' open KRNX real time control API, allowing for precise operation in dynamic settings. The companies plan to showcase the integrated system at Automate 2026.
