Kilsar Secures $3.7M to Enhance AI-Powered Maintenance Training
Kilsar has raised $3.7 million in a Seed funding round led by Lightbank and Cotulla Capital, with participation from Scalewolf and Techstars, announced in a press release. The funding will support the expansion of Kilsar's engineering and deployment teams and further development of its AI-powered Orion platform.
Kilsar's Orion platform is designed to capture expert insights from veteran technicians and convert complex maintenance procedures into interactive digital workflows. This technology aims to address the growing crisis in aviation maintenance training and workforce readiness by partnering with the Aviation Institute of Maintenance.
The company plans to use the new funding to accelerate onboarding across defense and commercial maintenance organizations. Kilsar's approach integrates legacy data and technician wisdom with next-generation AI, positioning itself as a critical enabler of workforce transformation in sectors like defense, aerospace, and industrial maintenance.
