KKR in Talks to Acquire ST Telemedia Global Data Centres
KKR is reportedly in discussions to acquire Singapore-based ST Telemedia Global Data Centres, a deal that could value the data center provider at more than $5 billion, according to Bloomberg. KKR, which already holds a 14.1% stake in ST Telemedia, has not commented on the potential acquisition.
In 2024, KKR, in partnership with Singapore Telecommunications, invested S$1.75 billion in ST Telemedia, which operates a network of data centers and infrastructure technology. This move aligns with KKR's strategy to expand its footprint in the Asia-Pacific region's growing digital infrastructure market.
