Knox Systems Launches IL5 Environment for Defense AI and Software
Knox Systems launched an Impact Level 5 environment sponsored by the U.S. Space Force, the company said in a press release. The environment provides a secure landing zone for commercial software and AI applications that support sensitive Department of War workloads.
The dedicated IL5 boundary can handle Controlled Unclassified Information and mission critical National Security Systems. It extends the company's existing FedRAMP High and Impact Level 4 capabilities, which it has held since 2019.
Technology providers can use the environment without creating and operating a separate government cloud deployment. Knox provides a hardened cloud boundary, continuous security operations, and a route for government customers to inherit an existing authorization.
