Labs Investor Group Plans $1.1 Billion in New Funds for 2026
Labs Investor Group is gearing up for the launch of two significant investment funds in 2026, as announced in a press release. The initiative includes the $100 million Test Tube Fund I, aimed at early-stage investments in human-enhancement technologies such as AI, spatial computing, and novel interfaces. Additionally, the $1 billion Labs Investor Fund I will be a multi-strategy platform divided into four sectors: AI Fund One, XR Fund One, Crypto Fund One, and Humane Fund One.
These funds are part of Labs' strategy to support Pre-Series A and Series A scale-up initiatives. The investment model will involve direct investments in startups and fund-of-funds commitments, allowing Labs to foster innovation at both the company and fund levels. The preparation phase is currently underway, focusing on mandate design and team architecture, with no fundraising activities commenced yet.
