LandingAI Introduces Agentic Document Extraction on Snowflake
LandingAI has launched its Agentic Document Extraction (ADE) on the Snowflake Marketplace, as announced in a press release. This new offering aims to improve how enterprises handle complex document workflows by utilizing agentic AI, which acts with autonomy and context awareness.
ADE is designed to go beyond traditional optical character recognition by employing layout-aware parsing and visual grounding. This allows enterprises to extract intricate details from documents, such as checkboxes, graphs, and tables, without the need for fine-tuning or model training. The extracted data can then be structured and explored within Snowflake's environment, enabling comprehensive data analytics and insights.
The integration of ADE with Snowflake's platform allows for seamless and secure processing of unstructured data, transforming it into actionable intelligence. This collaboration empowers businesses to automate document handling processes, enhancing data accessibility and business intelligence capabilities. According to LandingAI, early adopters across various sectors have already reported significant operational improvements, such as reduced processing times and increased consistency in document handling.
