Legato Frames use on device AI to amplify voices and reduce background noise for adults with mild to moderate hearing loss.

Legato begins selling its Legato Frames hearing glasses for $999, according to TechCrunch. The glasses are designed for adults with mild to moderate hearing loss.

The frames use AI to separate voices from background noise, amplify speech and reduce unwanted sounds. Processing occurs on the glasses without cameras or recording. An open ear speaker system directs sound toward the wearer and reduces escaping audio by 99% within a few inches of the ear, according to the company.

Legato Frames weigh 34 grams with lenses and provide 10 to 12 hours of battery life. They support prescription lenses, music and calls over Bluetooth, and come in three styles. Customers can buy them through Legato's website and select eye care providers in the United States, with vision insurance coverage available.

This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
