Lenovo, NADDOD and NEXAI Join SONiC Foundation
SONiC Foundation welcomes Lenovo, NADDOD and NEXAI as General Members, it said in a press release. The companies will contribute expertise in enterprise infrastructure, networking hardware and high speed Ethernet.
Lenovo is developing automation and AI operations capabilities for SONiC, including telemetry, Redis, SAI, BGP EVPN and RoCE. NADDOD plans to contribute platform and SAI updates, interoperability tests and reference architectures. NEXAI is porting SONiC to its networking products and plans contributions covering RDMA, RoCE, Priority Flow Control, SRv6, telemetry and AI network observability.
The new members will participate in the OCP Global Summit in San Jose from October 12 to 15. SONiC Foundation will host demonstrations and a workshop during the summit, followed by another workshop at Nokia's Sunnyvale office on October 16.
