LexisNexis Adds MyChart Identity Proofing to Epic Toolbox

Sep 15, 2026
LexisNexis Risk Solutions has added its MyChart identity proofing tools to the Epic Toolbox Program, giving US hospitals integrated options for verifying patients and assessing account risk.

LexisNexis Risk Solutions says in a press release that Identity Proofing for MyChart is now available through the Epic Toolbox Program. The product is listed under the Identity Verification for MyChart category, which indicates alignment with Epic integration and functionality practices.

The integration gives US hospitals using electronic health records from Epic modular tools for identity verification and risk decisions. It is available through the Epic Connection Hub without custom development and can cover account creation, login, recovery, medical record access, messaging, scheduling, and payments.

The product uses AI and machine learning to analyze patterns across billions of identity events. Its capabilities include digital identity, email and phone association, and biometric checks, with support for NIST IAL2 level assurance. The company says it can help address threats including synthetic identity fraud, forged documents and deepfake enabled impersonation, and that configurable assurance levels keep routine interactions simple while applying stronger verification to higher risk activities. LexisNexis Risk Solutions is part of RELX.
