Linker Vision Launches ESG Agent for Urban Forest Planning
Linker Vision announced in a press release an ESG AI agent that helps urban planners evaluate tree planting and greenery management using predictions of heat and shade coverage.
The company worked with MVRDV on a digital twin for urban forest planning. MVRDV supplied scientific data, helped define evaluation criteria and tested the agent. In a pilot, the system identified heat hotspots, selected tree species and simulated planting results, projecting that shade coverage could increase from 15.7% to more than 50% over 15 years.
The digital twin uses 3D Gaussian Splatting, NVIDIA accelerated computing, Omniverse libraries and OpenUSD to combine city, tree and environmental data. NVIDIA Nemotron models process natural language requests and test planting scenarios, while Metropolis Blueprint and Cosmos interpret video and physical conditions. Urban forest planning is available now.
