Luminary Platforms Raises $22 Million for Wealth Transfer Platform

Luminary Platforms raised $22 million in Series A funding to expand its AI capabilities, integrations and estate administration tools.

Luminary Platforms announced in a press release that it raised $22 million in Series A funding led by Ten Coves Capital. BNY, 8VC, Fin Capital, Focus Financial Partners, Rockefeller Capital Management's FinTech Innovation Fund and family offices also participated, bringing total funding to nearly $32 million.

Luminary's platform converts estate and ownership documents into structured, source verified data for financial advisers, trust companies, law firms and accounting firms. Customers use the platform to support more than $500 billion in client assets.

The company will use the funding to expand its AI capabilities, integrations, administration workflows and commercial operations. Its products include Luminary Insights, Estate 360, reporting templates, a deterministic tax engine and an estate waterfall for visualizing legacy planning scenarios.
