Lumos Launches MCP Governance for Claude Code and Codex

Lumos has released MCP Governance, a security product that monitors AI agent tool calls and blocks actions that violate access policies.

Lumos announced in a press release the launch of MCP Governance for Claude Code and Codex. The product gives security and IT teams visibility into Model Context Protocol usage and AI agent tool calls.

MCP Governance checks an agent's permissions when it attempts an action and blocks requests that violate organizational policies. The controls cover agents using permissions inherited from users and operate while the agents are running.

Lumos said it measured more than 450,000 agent actions within one week across its workforce of fewer than 200 employees. Support for additional AI agents is planned.
