MeritHyre Launches AI Recruitment Platform for Applicant Screening

Oct 2, 2026
MeritHyre launched a recruitment platform that interviews applicants, evaluates responses and gives hiring teams ranked shortlists with supporting evidence.

MeritHyre launched an AI recruitment platform for internal hiring teams, staffing agencies and recruitment process outsourcers, the company said in a press release. The platform screens, interviews and evaluates applicants, then produces ranked shortlists with evidence supporting each recommendation.

MeritHyre reads a job description and creates a structured interview process with questions and scoring criteria. Candidates can complete initial interviews through text or WhatsApp, while later stages can include video interviews, skills assessments or interviews with hiring staff. Employers can also use required qualifications as knockout questions.

Hiring teams can add their own evaluation criteria, guidelines and disqualifying factors, then review the system's questions, scores and interview tone. The platform integrates with applicant tracking systems, and its candidate scoring system has completed an independent third party bias audit.
