Meta's Muse passes 3.4 million downloads after Connect promotion

Meta's Muse AI app reached an estimated 3.4 million downloads after its September 8 launch, while daily active users rose following Meta Connect.

Muse AI reached more than 3.4 million estimated downloads after its September 8 launch, according to TechCrunch, citing data from Sensor Tower. Other estimates vary, with Apptopia reporting 4.3 million downloads and Appfigures reporting about 2.3 million as of September 24.

Sensor Tower recorded a 27% increase in daily active users on September 23 following the Meta Connect conference. Muse reached first place on the US App Store on September 18 and on Google Play on September 19, retaining both positions through September 25.

Meta began promoting Muse across its apps on September 9. Within 10 days, Muse received more house advertising across Meta properties than Facebook, Instagram or WhatsApp, while Meta also placed ads on Reddit, TikTok and YouTube. Paid promotions accounted for 6% of Muse ad impressions from launch through September 19.
