MGI Tech Presents New Laboratory Automation and Multi Omics Systems at SLAS 2026
MGI Tech Co., Ltd. showcased its latest laboratory automation and multi omics technologies at the SLAS 2026 conference in Vienna, announced in a press release. The company introduced three new systems designed to automate complex workflows and improve research efficiency in life sciences.
The PrepALL pP8G extends MGI's PrepALL platform to single cell proteomics. It combines thermal inkjet printing with precision low volume dispensing to automate sample preparation from cell sorting to proteomics analysis. Equipped with 640 parallel nozzles and AI assisted camera vision, the system can process 384 well plates in minutes while maintaining cell and protein integrity. The European launch is expected in the second half of 2026.
The GenSIRO48, presented for the first time internationally, automates sample processing from nucleic acid purification to library quality control. It supports high throughput workflows of up to 48 samples and is designed for clinical molecular diagnostics and public health applications.
MGI also introduced the PMIF VisiOmics (PMIF 20RS), a fully automated staining and imaging system for spatial proteomics. It uses multiplex immune fluorescence to generate detailed protein expression maps in tissue sections and integrates AI analysis for cell segmentation and spatial mapping. The system’s European launch is also scheduled for later this year.

Tensordyne Napier: What If One Rack Could Do the Work of Nine?
Tensordyne
This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
