MGI Tech Launches VisiOmics in Europe

MGI Tech launched its automated VisiOmics tissue imaging system in Europe and presented additional AI tools for pathology and laboratory workflows.

MGI Tech launched VisiOmics in Europe at the European Congress of Pathology in Stockholm on September 15, 2026, the company announced in a press release. The automated system combines multiplex immunofluorescence staining, tissue imaging, and AI image analysis.

VisiOmics can detect more than 20 markers per run and expand to more than 100 markers from one tissue section through cyclic staining. Its FluoXpert Vision software supports cell segmentation, phenotyping, spatial analysis, and AI assisted data visualization. MGI also announced a collaboration with Fraunhofer IIS to demonstrate compatibility between VisiOmics images and the MIKAIA pathology analysis software.

MGI also presented the Path-P96 WF tissue imaging platform, which processes up to 32 slides per batch, and opened European early access for its PrepLPS library preparation system. Its AIO platform combines library preparation, sequencing, and reporting in about 11 hours, with about 10 minutes of hands on work. Products are limited to research use where indicated.
