Midea Shows AI Home Agent and Robots at IFA 2026

Midea presented an AI home ecosystem at IFA 2026 that lets users interact with appliances and manage household tasks.

Midea presented its SMART MASTER AI home ecosystem at IFA 2026 in Berlin, the company announced in a press release. The system includes an AI agent for interacting with appliances and robot applications for cooking, cleaning, laundry, care and whole home control.

Midea also showed an air conditioner with AI voice controls and its AI ECOMASTER system for managing household power use. Other products included refrigerators with increased internal capacity, flexible hobs, an 81 liter built in oven and laundry systems.

The Connectivity Standards Alliance introduced the Matter smart home standard at Midea's booth. Midea also displayed cooling products using R290 refrigerant and appliances designed to reduce energy use.
