Milvus Robotics Introduces SEIT F1500S Forklift Robot for Industrial Automation
In a press release, Milvus Robotics announced the launch of the SEIT F1500S, a forklift-type autonomous mobile robot designed for material handling in manufacturing and warehouse environments. The system is built to replace manual workflows with a fully autonomous operation capable of handling complex and flexible transport tasks.
The SEIT F1500S supports a payload capacity of 3,500 pounds and lifting heights up to 8.86 feet. It can perform automated floor-to-shelf and shelf-to-floor transfers and handle both standard and custom load carriers. The robot operates without fixed infrastructure such as magnetic tape or floor markers and can communicate with other autonomous systems like conveyors to maintain continuous intralogistics flow.
The robot uses spherical 3D perception architecture and LiDAR-camera fusion technology to detect pallet types and positions accurately. It also includes a fork sensor that monitors the area behind a load in real time to detect objects or human movement before lifting. These features aim to improve safety and consistency in warehouse operations.
Milvus Robotics will demonstrate the SEIT F1500S performing live material handling tasks at the MODEX 2026 show in Atlanta.
