Mindtrip Launches Personal Travel Assistant

Mindtrip announced in a press release the launch of its Personal Travel Assistant, which remembers traveler preferences across multiple trips. The assistant uses details such as budgets, loyalty programs, travel companions, interests and past journeys to shape recommendations.

The system accounts for preferences that may change based on each trip. It can help users compare flights, hotels and itineraries while considering factors such as price, location, convenience and available space.

Users can activate AI agents to research destinations, monitor hotel prices and find restaurants, events or local activities. The assistant also builds itineraries, prepares destination briefings, suggests packing lists and organizes reservations and other trip details.

More than 18,000 travelers configured the assistant during beta testing. Mindtrip said users who configured it during the final two weeks of testing were three times more likely to create a trip than users who did not.
