Mintlify Raises $45 Million Series B Led by Andreessen Horowitz and Salesforce Ventures
Mintlify has raised $45 million in Series B funding led by Andreessen Horowitz (a16z) and Salesforce Ventures, announced on the company's blog. The round brings Mintlify’s total funding to $67 million and values the company at $500 million.
Additional investors in the round include Bain Capital Ventures, Y Combinator, HubSpot Ventures, TwentyTwo Ventures, MVP Ventures, Avra, and DST Global’s Rahul Mehta. Mintlify, which provides documentation infrastructure for developers, now supports over 20,000 companies and reaches more than 100 million users annually.
Founded in 2022, Mintlify began by improving developer documentation and has since expanded its platform to serve as a knowledge infrastructure layer for AI systems. The company’s tools integrate with codebases and project management platforms to automate documentation updates and connect structured knowledge directly to AI agents.
Mintlify plans to use the new funding to expand its engineering, sales, and marketing teams at its San Francisco headquarters as it scales its AI-focused documentation platform.
