Moments Lab Unveils MXT-2 for Enhanced Video Discovery

Moments Lab has launched MXT-2, the latest version of its multimodal AI technology for video discovery, announced in a press release. MXT-2 is designed to help content producers efficiently search and repurpose video content by identifying key actions, locations, and other elements in multiple languages.

The AI model's training dataset includes 1.5 billion images, significantly larger than its predecessor, allowing for more detailed and accurate video descriptions. New features such as Custom Moments and Custom Insights enable users to generate time-coded descriptions and automate text generation for various editorial needs.

MXT-2 is available on the Moments Lab platform and can be integrated into existing workflows via API. The technology will be showcased at the 2025 NAB Show in Las Vegas.
