moveUP Acquires Deep Structure.ai to Enhance AI-Driven Orthopedic Care
moveUP.care has announced its acquisition of Deep Structure.ai, a US-based digital health company known for its AI-driven solutions in orthopedic care, announced in a press release. This strategic move aims to integrate Deep Structure's advanced technology into moveUP's existing platform, enhancing efficiency and patient outcomes in orthopedic practices across the United States.
Ciaran McCourt, CEO of moveUP.care, emphasized the importance of incorporating data, AI, and predictive analytics into modern orthopedic surgery to address cost and reimbursement challenges. The acquisition is expected to significantly bolster moveUP's AI capabilities and accelerate its growth in the US market.
Deep Structure.ai, established in 2018, has developed an AI platform called Eunice, which creates digital phenotypes of patients for personalized care through simulated surgeries and remote monitoring. This technology allows surgeons to make data-driven decisions tailored to each patient's unique clinical situation, seamlessly integrating into existing clinical workflows.
Dr. Jared Weir, founder of Deep Structure, expressed enthusiasm about the merger, highlighting the potential to improve patient outcomes and reduce the burden on surgeons. The acquisition will enable moveUP's customers to benefit from Deep Structure's innovative technology in their daily workflows.
