Musubi Releases PolicyLM-1.7B for Content Moderation
Musubi released PolicyLM-1.7B, an open weights decision model for content moderation, according to TechCrunch. The model applies content policies written in plain English to messages in under 50 milliseconds.
PolicyLM-1.7B returns a binary judgment on whether content falls within a specified category. Musubi says platform operators can change their policies without retraining the model.
The company designed the model to run at a cost and speed similar to classifier systems used for content moderation on social platforms. Its open weights allow organizations to run the model on their own infrastructure.
