MyOme Expands Genomic Risk Platform Worldwide on Oracle Cloud

MyOme says in a press release that its genomic risk prediction platform and testing services are now available worldwide on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. The company has also joined Oracle PartnerNetwork and plans to offer its services to more healthcare organizations through Oracle Marketplace.

MyOme sequences an individual's entire genome once, then uses Oracle Cloud Infrastructure to analyze millions of genetic variants alongside clinical risk factors. The platform uses AI to produce integrated polygenic risk scores for coronary artery disease, type 2 diabetes, prostate cancer and breast cancer. It also provides findings on single gene conditions and guidance on how genetic variants may affect medication response.

The stored genome data can be analyzed again as a patient's health changes or scientific knowledge advances. Oracle Corporation provides the computing infrastructure used for the analysis.
