Nauticus Robotics Considers Up to $50 Million Private Investment
Nauticus Robotics, Inc. signed a nonbinding letter of intent with an unnamed strategic investor for a private placement of up to $50 million, the company announced in a press release. The proposed equity investment would support its commercial plans.
The board is evaluating the transaction and may appoint an independent financial adviser. The letter does not require the investor to provide funding, and any deal remains subject to due diligence, final agreements, approvals and closing conditions.
Final terms could dilute existing shareholders or result in a change of control. Nauticus said there is no assurance that the transaction will be completed.
