September 09, 2026
Nauticus Robotics has commercially released ToolKITT, an autonomy software suite that adds assisted navigation capabilities to existing remotely operated vehicles.

Nauticus Robotics, Inc. commercially released its ToolKITT autonomy software suite for underwater vehicles, the company said in a press release. The licensed product includes Pilot Assist, which helps remotely operated vehicle pilots hold position, compensate for currents, and navigate between waypoints while retaining operator supervision.

ToolKITT can be added to existing remotely operated vehicles without replacing their original control systems. It works alongside vehicle software, while the original equipment manufacturer system continues to handle manual control and diagnostics.

Nauticus said ToolKITT has been integrated with several third party vehicles and used in commercial operations, where it improved vehicle operating efficiency by more than 20%. The software is available through a subscription license, with an onboard sensor and topside computing package offered as an integration service.
