NAVER D2SF Invests in AI Game Production Startup Anchor Node
NAVER D2SF has invested in Anchor Node, a startup focused on developing AI solutions for game production. Announced in a press release, Anchor Node's AI tool, GameAIfy, automates the creation of game artwork, including images, motion, and backgrounds, from character concepts. This technology has proven to reduce production costs by 95% and cut development time from three years to less than a year.
Anchor Node has already released four games using GameAIfy, achieving 1.25 million downloads. The company is currently conducting a Closed Beta Test and is in discussions with major game developers for potential collaborations. They plan to showcase their AI-driven solutions at the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco.
With this investment, Anchor Node aims to enhance GameAIfy by adding new features like motion and NPC generation, and plans to expand into global markets, including establishing a subsidiary in France by the end of the year.
