NetActuate Expands Seattle Infrastructure for AI and Edge Connectivity
NetActuate has expanded its presence in Seattle to address the increasing demand for AI workloads and edge connectivity, announced in a press release. The expansion involves a significant enhancement of facilities at Digital Realty's Westin Building Exchange, a state-of-the-art data center.
This strategic move positions NetActuate to better support next-generation applications, including data-intensive AI and machine learning workloads. The Seattle deployment is designed to handle these applications with robust power and cooling capabilities, low-latency interconnections, and scalable compute resources.
NetActuate's expanded footprint provides direct access to the Seattle Internet Exchange (SIX), enabling high-throughput, low-latency connections to over 250 carriers and service providers. This ensures mission-critical reliability for latency-sensitive AI and edge workloads, making Seattle a key location for deploying low-latency services close to end users.
Additionally, the expansion offers access to higher power density sites throughout the Seattle market, supporting configurations up to 100kW per rack. This is ideal for compute-heavy AI, HPC, and GPU workloads, ensuring seamless integration into NetActuate's global network fabric.

Tensordyne Napier: What If One Rack Could Do the Work of Nine?
Tensordyne
This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
