NetRise Launches AI-Powered Cybersecurity Tool ZeroLens
NetRise has launched ZeroLens, an AI-powered cybersecurity product aimed at detecting undisclosed software weaknesses before they become exploited vulnerabilities, announced in a press release. ZeroLens enhances NetRise's platform by analyzing compiled code to identify weaknesses that traditional scanners might miss, using a technique known as binary composition analysis.
ZeroLens provides AI-driven summaries of identified weaknesses, guiding remediation efforts based on the context of the code. This proactive approach allows enterprises and device manufacturers to mitigate risks associated with zero-day exploits more effectively. The tool is particularly beneficial for industries like medical devices, where firmware security is critical.
NetRise CEO Thomas Pace emphasized that ZeroLens offers a path to rapid detection and mitigation of code weaknesses, enabling organizations to manage risks more efficiently. The product also supports vulnerability research at scale, allowing ethical hackers to analyze numerous binaries concurrently, thus reducing manual analysis time.
