Neura Robotics Launches Neuron AI for Humanoid Robots

Neura Robotics introduced Neuron AI, a multimodal foundation model for Physical AI, according to EU-Startups. The model combines 3D vision, touch, force data, audio, robot state and language with memory to produce robot actions.

Neuron AI can retain information about objects after they leave a robot's field of view. This lets robots use sound or touch to confirm actions, handle objects they cannot see and track the effects of previous actions.

The company trained the model using robot data from NEURA Gyms, simulated variations and demonstrations captured from people wearing sensor equipped suits. The training covers five robot designs with different grippers and hands.

Neura Robotics will demonstrate Neuron AI on its 4NE1 humanoid robot at NVIDIA GTC Berlin 2026. The robot will perform an eleven minute sequence that includes sorting laundry, loading and operating a washing machine, then transferring the laundry to a dryer without human assistance.
