Nexi Group and Google Cloud Partner on AI Agent-Based Commerce in Europe
Nexi Group and Google Cloud have signed a memorandum of understanding to build foundational infrastructure for next-generation digital commerce, announced in a press release. The collaboration aims to enable AI agent-based transactions, allowing autonomous shopping and payment processes authorized by consumers.
Under the agreement, Nexi Group will use Google Cloud technologies to enhance operational efficiency, real-time fraud detection, and merchant onboarding. The partnership combines Google Cloud’s AI and data capabilities with Nexi’s European payment network and acquiring expertise.
