nference and Rush Plan Clinical Analytics Platform for Research
nference and Rush University System for Health announced in a press release a long term partnership to create a secure clinical analytics platform hosted by Rush.
The platform will use nference software, data harmonization, and analytics infrastructure to prepare clinical data with identifiers removed for research. Rush researchers will use it to analyze longitudinal and multimodal records for observational studies and prospective research.
The platform is expected to include clinical notes, radiology and pathology imaging, laboratory tests, medications, diagnostic reports, genomics, biospecimen data collected with patient consent, electrophysiology data, and other records. The data scope covers routine care across nearly 5 million unique patients.
Rush University Medical Center is the first Illinois based academic medical center to partner with nference under this model.
