Notify Secures £1.5M to Enhance AI-Powered Safety Platform

Notify, a Newcastle-based safety tech company, has raised £1.5 million in a funding round led by Calculus Capital and the North East Venture Fund, supported by the European Regional Development Fund and managed by Mercia Ventures. The company plans to use the funds to introduce new AI-driven features to its platform and boost its sales and marketing efforts.

Founded in 2017 by Duncan Davies and Andy Dumbell, Notify's platform is designed to support workplace safety practices by enabling businesses to digitally record accidents and near misses, conduct audits and risk assessments, manage safety documents, and analyze safety data from a single platform. The platform is used by over 250,000 users worldwide, including major clients like McDonald's, Siemens, and the NHS.

The company has seen significant growth, increasing its annual recurring revenue by 47% over the past 18 months. With this latest funding round, Notify has raised over £7 million in total. The investment will help Notify continue its growth trajectory and further establish itself as a leader in the safety tech industry.
