Nous Research Raises $90 Million and Launches Business AI Agents

Nous Research raised a $90 million Series B at a $1.5 billion valuation and launched Hermes for Businesses.

Nous Research raised a $90 million Series B at a $1.5 billion valuation, according to TechCrunch. Robot Ventures led the round, with participation from Nvidia, Union Square Ventures, Menlo Ventures, Samsung, and 1789 Capital.

The financing brings the startup's total funding to $158 million. Nous Research said its open source Hermes Agent has been cloned more than 24 million times and accounts for about 2.5% of global AI token usage.

The company also launched Hermes for Businesses, which lets companies deploy customized AI agents for workflows with multiple steps while keeping their data private. Nous Research plans to use the new capital to expand this business product.
