Nscale Secures $3 Billion for AI Campuses in Texas and North Carolina

The facilities include up to $1.85 billion for the Ward County, Texas campus and up to $1.2 billion for the Madison County, North Carolina site. Both loan facilities received investment grade ratings with stable outlooks.
Nscale said the funds will mainly support GPU infrastructure, networking, storage, and liquid cooling equipment. The Ward County facility will fund NVIDIA GB300 (Blackwell Ultra) and VR200 (Vera Rubin) systems supporting about 275 MW of IT load.
The Madison County site is a 96 acre colocation facility with up to 40 MW of capacity. Its loan facility will fund site retrofit capital expenses, GPU infrastructure, and networking for AI compute deployments.
J.P. Morgan and Goldman Sachs served as joint lead arrangers, joint bookrunners, and co structuring agents for both facilities.
