Nuritas Names Kees Kruythoff Board Chair

Nuritas appoints former Unilever executive Kees Kruythoff as chair of its board to support commercial expansion and international partnerships.

Nuritas appoints Kees Kruythoff as chair of its board, the company announced in a press release issued in French. Kruythoff previously served on the executive committee of Unilever, including as president of its North American business and global Home Care division.

Kruythoff has nearly three decades of international leadership experience. He also led Unilever operations in Brazil and South Africa and managed businesses with revenue ranging from 200 million to 12 billion euros.

Nuritas, founded in Dublin in 2014, uses AI to identify naturally occurring peptides for nutrition and wellness products, and supplies peptide ingredients to partners including Mars, Nestle and Givaudan. Kruythoff will work with founder and chief executive Nora Khaldi to expand international partnerships and the commercial reach of the company's peptide portfolio.
