OculusIT Adds Seceon AI Security Platform for Colleges

Sep 24, 2026
OculusIT selected Seceon's automated threat detection and response platform for its security operations center services for colleges and universities.

OculusIT selected an automated threat detection and response platform from Seceon for its higher education security operations center services, the companies announced in a press release. The service runs from the OculusIT Command Center and provides visibility across networks, endpoints, identities, cloud systems and applications.

The platform uses more than 800 data sources to identify and correlate threats. The companies say it can contain threats in under 90 seconds and reduce alert volumes through automated correlation and threat models designed for higher education.

The service also provides continuous compliance monitoring aligned with FERPA, GLBA, HIPAA and NIST 800-171/CMMC. OculusIT and Seceon plan to demonstrate the offering at EDUCAUSE 2026 in Denver from September 29 to October 2.

Tensordyne Napier: What If One Rack Could Do the Work of Nine?

Tensordyne

This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
