Onix Raises $5 Million for Expert Knowledge AI Platform

Onix raised $5 million in its first institutional funding round to develop Personal Intelligence, onboard experts, and prepare the platform for commercial availability.

Onix raised $5 million in a preseed round led by Alpha Edison, the company announced in a press release. Garage Capital, Ride Home Fund, Jeremy Zimmer and JS Cournoyer also participated.

The company will use its first institutional funding to develop its Personal Intelligence platform, add experts, conduct research and evaluations, and prepare for public availability. The platform is trained exclusively on licensed knowledge and lets participating experts govern how their material is used.

Personal Intelligence is available through early access on iOS. Onix expects full commercial availability later in 2026, with an Android release to follow.
