OpenAI Buys Smartphone Camera Startup Glass Imaging
OpenAI acquired Glass Imaging in recent months, according to The Wall Street Journal. The deal valued Glass Imaging at more than $300 million.
Glass Imaging was founded by former Apple employees. The company is developing technology that uses AI to improve smartphone photos, with a goal of producing image quality comparable to a DSLR camera.
