OpenSpace Adds Indoor Positioning and Jobsite Reporting Tools

September 10, 2026
OpenSpace introduced new construction tools for indoor positioning, jobsite reporting, progress tracking and AI agents at Waypoint 2026.

OpenSpace detailed an updated Visual Intelligence Platform in a press release at its Waypoint 2026 customer event. The company introduced AI Autolocation 2.0 with Live Location, which provides indoor positioning without GPS or installed wireless hardware.

Site Mode displays a worker's location on project drawings and BIM models, including when offline. AI Walk-and-Talk uses voice and images captured during jobsite walks to create structured updates for tasks such as daily reports.

OpenSpace also added quantity tracking, markups, predictive analytics and an API to OpenSpace Track. The API connects progress data with ERP systems, business intelligence dashboards and project management tools. Its new OpenSpace Agent Ecosystem gives AI agents visual and spatial context for daily logs, inspections and punch list work. OpenSpace will provide availability details for early access, beta programs and general access in the coming months.
