Oracle Q1 Revenue Rises 30% as AI Cloud Contracts Top $30 Billion
Oracle Corporation reported fiscal first quarter revenue of $19.35 billion, up 30%, for the quarter ended August 31, 2026, according to its earnings release. Cloud revenue rose 62% to $11.61 billion, including cloud infrastructure revenue of $7.39 billion, up 121%.
Oracle signed more than $30 billion in additional AI cloud contracts during the quarter. Remaining performance obligations reached $664 billion, an increase of $209 billion from a year earlier. The company delivered more than 300,000 GPUs to AI cloud customers and added 850 megawatts of data center capacity.
GAAP net income available to common shareholders increased 60% to $4.68 billion, while diluted earnings per share rose 55% to $1.56. Operating cash flow reached a record $23.10 billion in the same quarter that free cash flow came in at negative $5.4 billion, the gap being what Oracle spent building the capacity those contracts require.
Oracle expects at least $90 billion in revenue and non GAAP earnings of $8.10 per share for fiscal 2027. It completed a $20 billion common stock sale through an at the market equity program during the quarter.
