Orchard Robotics Secures $22M for AI-Powered Farm Management
Orchard Robotics has raised $22 million in a Series A funding round to advance its AI-powered precision agriculture technology. The funding was led by Quiet Capital and Shine Capital, with participation from existing investors such as General Catalyst and Contrary. announced in a press release, the company aims to address the lack of precise field-level data in agriculture.
Founded in 2022 by Charlie Wu, Orchard Robotics uses AI and camera technology to provide fruit growers with detailed insights into crop health and yield. The company's FruitScope Vision System captures high-resolution images of crops, which are analyzed by AI to inform farm management decisions. This technology is already in use across major apple and grape farms in the U.S. and is expanding to other crops like blueberries, cherries, and almonds.
The new funding will enable Orchard Robotics to enhance its technology and expand its team, with plans to open a new office in San Francisco. The company aims to transform agriculture by providing data-driven solutions that improve farm efficiency and profitability.

Tensordyne Napier: What If One Rack Could Do the Work of Nine?
Tensordyne
This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
