Orqa Signs Partnership with Red River Army Depot to Expand U.S. Drone Production
Croatia-based Orqa has entered into a teaming agreement with Red River Army Depot in Texarkana, Texas, to support the U.S. Army’s small Unmanned Aircraft System (sUAS) manufacturing capacity, announced in a press release.
The collaboration aligns with the U.S. Army’s effort to expand unmanned systems production within existing depots under the National Defense Authorization Act. It also strengthens Orqa’s Global Manufacturing Program, which aims to scale production across multiple locations.
Under the agreement, Orqa will contribute to domestic drone manufacturing and provide “Made in America” platforms for U.S. military customers and allied partners. The company stated that the partnership will enhance its production capabilities and support ongoing Army modernization initiatives.
Founded in Osijek, Croatia, Orqa designs and manufactures FPV and unmanned aerial systems, supplying defense and enterprise clients in more than 50 countries. Red River Army Depot, established in 1941, provides manufacturing and repair services for U.S. military vehicles and components.
