Orthogonal Raises $4.3 Million Seed Funding to Build AI Agent Infrastructure
Orthogonal has raised $4.3 million in seed funding led by Pantera Capital, with participation from Y Combinator, Pioneer Fund, Decasonic, Blast, Outbound, Surreal, and other investors, announced in a press release.
The company is developing infrastructure that allows AI agents to discover new capabilities, access services instantly, and complete payments in a single workflow. Its platform provides a unified way for AI agents to find and use internet-based tools in real time, enabling them to perform complex tasks without frequent errors or human intervention.
Orthogonal stated that the new capital will accelerate development of its core platform, which serves as the discovery, orchestration, and payment layer for autonomous agents operating across the internet.

Tensordyne Napier: What If One Rack Could Do the Work of Nine?
Tensordyne
This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
