Parakeet Health raised a $10 million Series A led by Canvas Ventures, the company said in a press release. Blank Space Ventures, StoryHouse Ventures and HMC INQ also participated, bringing its total funding to $13 million.

The company provides an AI platform for patient calls, outreach, fax processing and web scheduling across voice, text messages, email, web and fax. It integrates with electronic health record and practice management systems to manage referrals, appointment booking and follow up within a shared workflow.

Parakeet Health said it supports more than 2,800 providers across over 1,100 locations, including six of the 10 largest dermatology groups in the US. It will use the funding to expand its technology and team, improve personalization and add more medical specialties and patient access workflows.
