PATEO and Arm Partner on Automotive Physical AI
PATEO and Arm signed a strategic memorandum of understanding to develop physical AI applications, the companies announced in a press release. The work will focus on automotive AI workloads for perception, interaction and decision making.
The companies plan to explore computing platforms for multimodal perception, integrated cockpit and driving systems, real time interaction and in vehicle AI agents. These applications require high performance, low power use, reliability and functional safety.
Arm will provide automotive computing technology, while PATEO will contribute its software, hardware, chip and cloud capabilities for intelligent cockpits and connected vehicles. PATEO reported about RMB 209 million in AI related revenue for the first half of 2026, an increase of 588.6 percent from the previous year.
