Perplexity and Valarian Bring AI Tools Into Customer Infrastructure
Perplexity AI and Valarian are partnering to run Perplexity's AI tools within infrastructure controlled by customers, the companies said in an announcement. The deployment uses ACRA, Valarian's sovereign execution environment, to keep processing, memory and data access within boundaries defined by each organization.
Customers can choose which models, tools and computing infrastructure handle individual workloads. ACRA supports customer cloud environments, dedicated graphics processors, multiple cloud providers and infrastructure owned by the organization under a common control layer.
Organizations can also route low sensitivity research to external model APIs while processing confidential data through local models in isolated environments. Customers can set policies governing which data and tools AI agents can access.
