Photon Bridge Raises €10 Million for AI Chip Laser Links
Photon Bridge, a Dutch startup building laser technology that connects AI chips in data centres, has raised a €10 million seed round, Sifted reported.
The company makes optical engines that combine III-V laser materials with silicon photonics, according to Dealroom. It aims to supply multi-wavelength laser sources for the optical links that move data between chips, easing bandwidth and power limits in AI data centres.
The round follows a €4.75 million seed in January 2025. Since then, the company has reported wafer-scale validation and a customer partnership in 2025.

Tensordyne Napier: What If One Rack Could Do the Work of Nine?
Tensordyne
This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
