Phrasly released Ultra, a model that rewrites AI assisted drafts and offers five rewriting modes. A company benchmark says it averaged a 99.8% human score from Pangram.

Phrasly announced in a press release the release of Ultra, a model that rewrites AI assisted drafts while seeking to preserve their meaning. According to the company's September 2026 benchmark, Ultra averaged a 99.8% human score from Pangram.

The benchmark used 72 randomly selected AI generated texts from a public dataset. Pangram rated 70 of Ultra's 72 outputs as entirely human, while three competing tools averaged scores of 50% or less. Phrasly also said Ultra averaged 0.85 added or altered facts per rewrite, compared with 2.64 for the next closest tool.

Ultra offers Gentle, Light, Balanced, Strong and Max rewriting modes. It is available through the Humanizer model menu on all paid Phrasly plans.
